Boarding

Don’t look for kennels or cages here. At Hawk’s Rest Ranch, the dogs are part of the family. We have 12 acres of no-climb fencing so your dog can run and play to their heart’s content. The animals are supervised at all times and are free to roam from the house to the barn. Fresh water is always on hand and each animal is fed twice a day according to individual dietary needs. This is truly a place like no other and you can be assured that your pet is in good hands.

Dogs, dogs, and more dogs…

We never felt right leaving our animals in a kennel or a cage, so it was only natural to create a space where our dogs could run free. We want you to feel comfortable leaving your pet in a place where they can be cared for as if they were our own. Leaving your pet is stressful enough, but knowing they are receiving excellent care while you’re away is one less thing to worry about.

Puppies

There’s an extra daily charge for puppies (typically 12 mo. and younger). When you contact us to reserve, tell us about your dog - breed and age - and we can let you know what the extra charges will be.

Spayed/Neutered & Vaccinated

All dogs must be spayed or neutered as soon as they’re eligible in order to stay with us. You dog must also be current on all their vaccinations.

Minimum Stay

We have a two night minimum stay at Hawk’s Rest Ranch. If you are going to board your animal, it will need to be a minimum of two nights. We do not offer single day boarding, only overnight stays.

Breeds

We cannot offer overnight boarding to small breeds. Due to the nature of our facilities, the horses and the dogs are often together and we do not offer kennel services. If you have a dog that is under 25lbs we are unable to safely take them and we would encourage you to search for a facility that takes only dogs.

We are unable to host guard dog breeds like rottweilers, pitbulls, dobermans, etc. for the same reason - our horses and dogs share the same space.

If you have questions about your specific animal or your dog’s breed, please contact us!
