Boarding
Whether for one night or a year, Hawk's Rest offers a variety of options for you to keep your horse in a clean and safe setting.
We Feed according to veterinary recommendation and practices. Special dietary needs are welcome and can be accommodated.

Private Stall with walkout paddock: we offer 12 x 12 insulated stalls complete with Varnan automatic horse waterer, inside sliding stall entry, and dutch door access to 24 x 32, or 12 x 32 outside paddock. Perfect for the horse who deserves the very best. All stall boarding includes hay, grain, trace mineral salt block, and bedding.
Private Outside Paddock or Field: Each paddock is approximately 1/4 acre, fields vary in size up to 3 acres and each has a Varnan automatic horse waterer and trace mineral salt block. Includes hay and feeding. All fencing is post and rail except, perimeter fence which is post, top rail, and 4" horse wire.
General Herd: The general " herd" concept is a little different here than you might find elsewhere. We place horses in with groups they "fit" in with such as, a horse who is less dominate would go into a calmer group. Or an easy keeper would go in with other horses who need a little less to stay fit. Whatever the need we can accommodate the situation. Mares are welcome and mostly have their own group, mostly. Each horse is an individual and they get that consideration here at Hawk's Rest.
All fields have loafing sheds for protection from sun, wind, or rain/snow!
Foaling Mares: Pregnant mares are welcome at anytime during their term. We provide two stalls as the time draws near so that one is clean at all times. Each foaling stall is equipped with 24 hour surveillance camera and is bedded with only the best straw available. As the mare begins to foal you can rest assured you will be contacted and welcome to be here at anytime. Our vets are on call 24 hours and are called to check the foal and mother and to aid in any difficulty. You can rest assure your mare and foal will receive only the best of care.
HORSE MOTEL: Travelers thru Jackson Hole or Star Valley can be comforted that while they enjoy the area their horse(s) or dog(s) will be taken care of as if they were home. Stalls or paddocks available.

TRAINING
Whether you are starting a new horse or have one with bad habits or just needs touching up we can help with any stage of training. We offer programs for both horse and rider that will build confidence, gain respect, and develop a complete relationship for you and your horse. If it's the kid's horse or a competition event horse, or anywhere in between we have a program to suit you needs.

Transportation
Horses need to be moved and you won't always have time or the equipment to move them. We offer full horse transportation whether it is across country or across the street. In the event of an emergency we can transport to vets in Sun Valley, Idaho, Salt Lake City, Utah, or Fort Collins, Colorado after the horse has been diagnosed or treated initially here. Moving and want your horse to go? No problem. Contact us and we can set up all your horse transport needs.
