| DOGS, DOGS, and more DOGS!!!
Don't look for kennels or cages here! At Hawk's Rest, dogs are part of the family and run in and out live right in the house. Sound crazy? Maybe, but we developed this method of boarding after the way we would like to leave our own dogs. Leaving one of our pets in a conventional kennel just did not sit well with us and we thought others might share our reluctance to place their pet, and companion, in a setting like that.
We have fenced 12 acres in no-climb horse/dog wire so that your dog can romp and roam with other dogs and play to their hearts content. They are watched at all times and can come in the house or barn at any time. Fresh water is always at hand and dogs are fed twice a day according to your preference and direction. We do supply food but will feed your food if you desire. A lot of boarders here have special diets or needs (meds, and etc..) and that is no problem or extra charge.
This is truly a place like no other and we hope to provide you with the knowledge that while you are gone your pet is as happy as can be and you can relax in that knowledge. |

GROOMING
Grooming here is done by master groomer Julie Johnston who, is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and the prestigious Nash Academy of Grooming Arts in Lexington, Kentucky. This service is offered but not included in boarding charges and is by appointment only as she is quite booked way in advance.
